I appreciate the sentiment, it brings more than laughter to me...

I was visiting Ron in February, the winter of Two Thousand Seven,
a few months after the do-or-die November mid-term elections—
we citizens said with our votes that we're sick of the horrible war...
and there's a whole bunch of other things that we don't like either.

We're disgusted by criminal greed and corruption in high places...
the Bush regime obviously loves to shove it in our faces—
it's perfectly clear to everyone, except maybe Laura, and the twins,
that war profiteers and oil companies are the only ones who win.

And that's just the beginning of a long, long list of things that just ain't fair...
for example, why are we the only modern country without decent health care?!
Bush keeps cutting taxes for the wealthy, and feeding the imperial machine...
no wonder all the rest of us keep on suffering.
The president didn't hear us when we demanded change...
apparently, to him that means 'more of the same'—
he seems to think 'End The War In Iraq'
means 'find a pretext to bomb Iran,' in fact.
Congress keeps debating whether or not the president is out of line...
this disgraceful state of affairs reminds me of my friend's sign—
George Bush just won't be nice, so I say he's got to leave...
and the only way to get him out of there is to IMPEACH.

or even worse, the scoundrel scammed and conned his way into it—
there's a remedy, and that's to tell the so-and-so he's fired...
for a president who chronically lies, that's what the Constitution requires.
